Well, I didn’t pull my camera out at Thanksgiving this year so no pictures, but it was a really nice Thanksgiving with Steve’s family. Good food and good company. I think Steve got our nephew Shawn hooked on some zombie shooting game on the computer.
Friday we had a few errands to fun…but no “Black Friday” shopping for us!!
Saturday we headed up to Rancho Murieta to see Trisha and family. It was really great to see them…we miss having them closer and wish we could see them more!! Hopefully we’ll be able to visit them up in Idaho soon…maybe after the snow :)
Sunday we headed to the airport so Steve could catch his flight to Shanghai. He’s there for 2 weeks for work. I dropped Steve off at the same time my parents landed, so I parked and ran in to say hi to my parents for a few minutes before their ride showed up (my uncle).
Steve and I chatted on the computer last night. So far things have been pretty good. He survived the 14 hour flight and his hotel is very nice. He’s still trying to adjust to the time…he’s 16 hours ahead of us. His first day of work is actually Wednesday. Below are some pictures from his adventures yesterday.

What Steve referred to as “touristville”…where all the really cheap knockoffs of just about anything you want can be found.
Yuyuan Garden - Steve said this place was really interesting www.yugarden.com.cn (this site doesn’t load very well, but it has a little video running that shows the place)
