So, all of our bedrooms were full, so we’re remodeling our family room to make room for our office so we have a room for the baby. Below are a few before picture.
We removed the mantel, tile, and carpet. We painted the walls, put up crown molding, installed new tile around the fire place and had someone install hardwood floor. We still need to put up a new mantel and do a little touch up painting, but all of the major stuff is done at least! Our new couch should be here the end of the month or beginning of next month, then we’ll be able to “officially” put the room back together. Here are some progress pictures.

Thanks everyone...we are so happy with the way everything has turned out so far. I was a little worried about us doing the tile ourselves, but in the end I think we did pretty good for novice tilers :)
