This is really late…but over 3 weeks ago now, we purchased a new vehicle. These pictures are pretty lousy since I was too lazy to back the car out of the garage to take pictures…pretty sad! We ended up with a Nissan Murano. I sold my civic last week. I really like the new car I’m just having a little issue adjusting to the change in gas mileage!! To go from 34 mpg to 19 mpg…although I knew this was the case…still makes me choke a little!!
Our new sectional was delivered on Saturday, so our family room is now close to functional. Steve’s office area was setup behind it. We’re looking for a short screen to put behind the couch to better hide the office area and the mantle should be installed sometime in the next week or so. Eventually we’re going to have a desk custom built that will go with the room, but we put that on hold for the time being. We also installed “in wall” speakers for our surround system since the stand mounted ones weren’t going to work with the sectional.
Now that the nursery is cleaned out, we were finally able to put together the Mamaroo that my sister got for us…thanks Susan!! We’re using this instead of a bouncer/swing. We’ll see how it goes. It’s pretty cool! We tried to get the cat to “test drive” it, but she didn’t want to have anything to do with it!
We installed a closet organization system in the nursery…which has yet to be “organized”…but we’re getting there. The crib and dresser will be delivered tonight, so then it won’t look like quite the disaster area it does now.
