Things to do in Victoria, BC

Here are some places Steve and I found to go to around Victoria. Let me know what you think.

Wild Play Parks – This looks like it could be fun and different if people are up for it. It’s $39.99/person for the TreeGo Course and it’s about 1 hour north of where the house is.

Empress Hotel Afternoon Tea – In Victoria, not sure what the price is.

Hatley Park National Historic Site – In Victoria. Garden admission is $4.75, $18 for castle tour/person

Vancouver Island Brewery – Doesn’t look like they have tours or tasting, but it sounds interesting…may be worth a try. It’s in Victoria.

Butchart Gardens - $28/person

Canoe Brew Pub – Looks like it could be a good place for food and or beer.

Art Gallery of Greater Victoria – $12 admission. Looks like they have a Edo: Arts of Japan’s Last Shogun Age which may be interesting.

Brentwood Bay Lodge – Looks like this could be a great place for a nicer more expensive dinner. They also have a wine bar, pub & sushi & sake bar.

Butterfly Gardens - $12/ adult

Tourism Victoria Website – Check this website out to look at other stuff to do.

It seems like there are lots of trails and you can rent bikes at places. There are also wineries, meaderies, and cideries. There are also quite a few museums…aviation, navel & military, and history.

Let me know if you find something else of interest and what you think of the things linked to here.

It all sounds good to me...I am up for anything really as long as the places are children friendly. Leevi sounded interested in the tree thing. Was there a website for that place?

Nevermind I figured it out

Did you find the video for the tree thing? It was pretty interesting.

Sounds like you have found lots of things to do there. Who wants to do the tree experience??

I like the new background. I guess I better change mine since I still have Christmas.

Anne, you should go to the gardens and the butterfly thing, J and I were there three years ago, its SO pretty! Also, you must go to Rogers Chocolates, they are on one of the main strips of shopping. They are really yummy!
